Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a start up boarding facility in northwest Florida on the Emerald Coast. We own a veterinary hospital that this will be an off shoot of, but it is on a separate location and has a different name. I would like to utilize some of the design from the veterinary logo (uploaded) to have recognition, but I don't want it branded so other veterinarians in the area won't recommend our facility. We are very close to the beach and like the coastal theme. The new building has a royal blue roof, so color idea? I can upload a photo if needed.
