Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The logo is for an academic conference that is held annually in a physical location. Because of COVID-19, this year for the first time we are running a virtual conference instead. The participants are typically professors and graduate students at business schools worldwide, researching topics related to international business, multinational corporations, global trade related issues. The conference is organized by Academy of International Business (AIB), a nonprofit association.

We would like the event to have a clean, distinguishing logo that communicates one or more of the following: connection, networking, scholarship, knowledge, technology, innovative, collaboration. The layout of the design should be well-suited to display on a website banner (so more horizontal than vertical). The logo will be primarily used for online display and not for print. Our typical designs have always incorporated the AIB logo (i.e., the organization's logo), so we would like to continue that trend. We are currently considering calling it "AIB 2020 Online" but we are open to alternatives if the designer comes up with something interesting that mashes better with their design. We have uploaded the AIB logo, as well as a couple sample logos from past physical conferences (although obviously we do not have a location this year). We are not necessarily in love with either of the past samples we posted, so don't feel try to replicate those (the local host institutions created them, we didn't get to choose). We uploaded our organizational logo both with and without the "Academy of International Business" text, but we have a preference for the NO TEXT version.
