Looking at some of these first designs perhaps it is also an idea to make the scooter more abstract instead of copying it 1 to 1 (say horizontal line, 2 circles and a verticale line?

Why not implementing just the front pole with handle bar and wheel (abstract) into the first U or last Letter b ?
