Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are opening a pet care business and it is named after my first dog, Butterbean. Butterbean was a yellow Labrador.
We will have daytime play, with small groups of dogs. Overnight boarding of any type of pet - dogs, cats, pocket pets, exotic animals (no horses,etc. :))
We have 30+ years experience in the veterinary medical field, thus the specialized medical boarding. We are able to care for older animals that need mobility or medical assistance. We are also able to care for pre and post surgical patients.
Want it to convey an image of quality, knowledge and fun. It should be professional but fun - no cutesie pictures or word play. I have attached a design that we like - using open source logo, but am looking for smarter people than me to come up with something new or improve on the one I have uploaded.
The blue & yellow were used because those are the 2 colors that dogs see best.
I am completely at a loss as to how to make this description over 300 words. To give you an idea of what type of people we are (maybe to help with design?), we have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 8 chickens. We are both veterinary technicians and I have taught in a veterinary technology program for 20 years. We are sarcastic and hysterically funny. If you lived close, we would invite you over for a socially distant cocktail. Be safe!
