Verpackungs-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a coffee roaster that is wanting to redesign our bags so they look more professional, yet modern, funky & fun. The design would need to stand up to other national coffee roasters like Counter Culture, Stumptown, or other high-end specialty coffee roasters.

Well-Bean is a social enterprise (a for-profit supporting a non-profit). We buy directly from our farmers in Nicaragua so they receive better wages and then we give back a portion of our profits to New Song Mission Nicaragua www.newsongnica.org We named the company Well-Bean off the idea of "Well-Being" so we like to portray health, wellness, and balance (which is why our coffee bean in our logo looks a bit like the yin yang symbol). We really like the idea behind the 7 Chakras (as far as the colors & the wellness themes since we have 7 coffees). This may be nice to incorporate into the bag design.

We sell our coffees in 12 oz and 2.2 pound bags. Bag dimensions templates are attached for the 2.2 pound bags. We have chosen “white matte with metallic effects” bag so the design should reflect the matte white color.

We like the "flavor wheel" idea we have on our current labels. We have included photos of current Kraft brown coffee bags AND an .ai file of one of the labels. We have a total of 7 coffees. We are awarding the best design for one label to make sure we find a fit. If we like the design we would pay an additional amount for the other 6 designs. We have included an example design of a white 2.2 pound bag. This is the bag we will use but not the design. We want to utilize all parts of the bag in the design (like the example we have provided).

The labels will need the following:

Front:
1) Logo
2) Name of Coffee (we would like helping naming them maybe after the wellness theme)
3) Roast type (light, medium, or dark)
4) The flavor wheel with custom (modern, funky design)
5) 12 oz or 2.2 lbs based on the bag you are designing
6) Include "100% specialty grade, arabica coffee'
7) Say "Small batch roasted"

Side #1: "Brewed to Bless"
Information about New Song and how Well-Bean financially supports New Song and their wellness initiatives in rural northwest Nicaragua. Well-Bean's owner Melissa Brown's parents' started New Song in 2002 and Melissa has visited every year since. She started sourcing coffee from Nicaragua in 2012 to support their mission and Well-Bean was born. I have uploaded pics and a logo from New Song.
*We have attached photos of the children we work with in the mission if you would like to incorporate the photos on the bag design. We own the rights to the photos.

Side #2: "Direct Trade Initiative" Info about working with the Farmers in Nicaragua and sourcing directly from them so they receive better wages. Well-Bean's goal is to source 100% of their coffee beans direct from all farming partners by 2022. Currently we work with Finca de San Jose in Matagalpa, Nicaragua. The farm owners are Bayardo & Alvaro Reyes.

• Design that will look good on a white, matte foil bag with metallic effects. The design should be modern, funky, with a high-end feel, yet playful. We like the colors we chose from the color wheel in the design description but don't feel like you have to use all of them.
