Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Hi, I'm looking for a unique and creative design that mixes Music and Martial arts (Taekwondo) together.

I've uploaded the current design, which I'm not happy with.
I like the text layout (with the Large M for both Maestros and Masters), but the font is too fussy and it's hard to read. The actual image is boring. I like the martial artist figure, but it doesn't really show music and martial arts working together. Our academy tagline is 'Where music and martial arts strike a chord'.

The logo doesn't have to be anything like the one uploaded, it can be totally unique or it can have similar elements (like the text layout).

I'd like it to be child friendly. Something that can be both colorful and fun, but also smart and professional.

One final point is it can't be too complex, as it's something I'd like to get embroided onto T-shirts (for staff) and other merchandise.

UPDATE: I've seen a couple lovely designs mixing blues, grays and blacks. I quite like the idea of having the 'image' in a circle (or other shape) above or at the side of the main body of text.

Some ideas:
- Perhaps something like a circle with guitar strings, and a martial artist figure kicking the strings? (Showing striking a chord).

- Maybe have a guitar on one side and a martial artist on the other side, striking in the middle?

- Maybe the circle could intertwine a bass clef in a yin-yang symbol?

- Maybe a musical note wearing a black belt would be good?
