WordPress-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are looking to have a WP theme designed for our company, On Target Digital. We are an online marketing firm specializing in SEO, Paid Search/PPC, Analytics and a number of other marketing channels.

We have a logo and tag line. We also have a rough and unloved design to work from as a way to illustrate the content needs of the homepage. We would like an interactive slider on the homepage which displays text and image content describing our services and our value props/solution positioning. Layering content is also something we'd like to incorporate in a block or two on the page, whether it be tabs, window shades, rotating or mouse-over type div swapping, scrolling news box, etc.

The design also needs to be able to transition to a less portal-like feel (re: the homepage) to a page design that houses a description for each of our services, an about page, privacy page, etc.

So, in the spirit of the typical WP construct, there would be a consistent header and footer, with a main content div that is flexible and eye-catching.

Three column design for the homepage feels right, but that's not a requirement. For the rest of the pages one or two columns seems like the right layout. Again, is this open to design.

Notes: most folks didn't care for the opaque gun in the background. Though, a subtle, muted background image would be a welcome design element. Keep in mind that these images are only for illustrating the content needs. We are not expecting anything that looks like these concepts. In fact, they didn't appeal to most of us.

Also included is a third design that we kind of liked (probably could live without the page curls, though). Modern sophistication that isn't stuffy but doesn't get too juvenile is what we're wanting. If there's a way to complement the power colors of our logo and attain a style that's lively, digerati in spirit and alluring, then that's what we would like to arrive at.

I have also attached the rough designs we put together and the logo.

We really don't have any strong restrictions or absolutes as far as how the design turns out. We just want something that looks great and captures the spirit of the business/brand. The visuals could definitely benefit from a human element, or a splashy graphic or something festive, technically inclined and/or inclusive.

• Most of the text on the page should be true text if possible (for SEO purposes, etc.). The ability to layer text content is also desirable, so having content blocks that use z-indexed divs would be ideal. Theme should accommodate widgets, permalinks and all of the common WP page enhancements and taxonomy options.
