Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Logo design for a group of researchers approaching computational modeling & simulation in a more human way, incorporating psychology and sociology with the technical aspects of AI. We've included an image of the cover of the book this group wrote, which was published last year, but that is not intended as a limitation or even as a starting direction. We are looking for a fresh way of depicting the convergence of AI technology with human life that helps us solve genuinely distressing social problems. The final design should be elegant, probably with bold colors, maybe with gradients. We want the image to translate well to print or digital and a version of the design that displays well in black and white. The logo should convey themes and ideas important to the research group, such as social sciences (sociology, psychology), interdisciplinary collaboration, humanity, ethics, problem-solving, high-tech tools, and scholarly research.

KEY DEFINITIONS:

Human simulation is the application of computational modeling and simulation to research in humanities disciplines and to the solving of urgent human social problems.

The Human Simulation Group (for which the logo is sought) is an international group of scholars, working in the English language, conducting research and building computational simulations to understand human life and to address complex and urgent human social problems. We have worked on problems such as human trafficking, suicide, extremist religious violence, nightmare disorder, etc.
