Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a "cute but not too Disney" design for a housing development in Pleasantville. The project is called The Ponds. The developer would like a full color logo of a frog with a crown, smiling, sitting on a lily pad. He could be sitting or could be laying down. The client is open to embellishments such as the frog holding a jewel, or something that looks like a Faberge egg or a round gold object, wearing simple jewelry. Client does not want the frog to be wearing a cape. Leaning on the side of "simple and clean" is best overall. This design will be used as a highway side which will be visible by passing motorists. It will also be used as a logo for letterhead and business cards. See additional notes regarding text below. There will be one logo for a sign with the word WELCOME arched above the frog and the words The Ponds at Pleasantview underneath the frog (can be two straight lines); and another without the word WELCOME for use on letterhead, brochures, etc.
