Infografik-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need an A0 (landscape) map of Switzerland where we can put approximately 200 different items to describe key characteristics of certain companies.

The designer needs to deliver:
- the map itself on A0 canvas
- 10 exemplary items on the map (we will do the copying 200 times ourselves).
- title on top of the plot
- legend (for mapping attributes to icons, see below)
- a placeholder for our company logo, a short slogan and a URL (eg on the bottom of the plot)
- in an editable format (preferably Illustrator or InDesign)

Requirements:
- The ITEM DESIGN will be the most important aspect !!! It should properly show the information and be visually appealing. Each item represents a single company. If possible, the item should indicate the company size (for example, you could include a 3d-skyscraper pic, where the skyscraper size indicates the company size). Further, each item has three description attributes (maximum length 20 letters per attribute): "Company name", "Core software", "Provider" (the attribute labels may be represented by small icons). All items should have the same design.
- the 200 items are NOT evenly distributed on the map. For example, 100 of the 200 items will be around Zurich. Therefore, we probably need a way to link items to the approximate place on the map (eg by means of a line or arrow). Attached you find a list of companies for the exemplary items.
- the EXACT item position is NOT important.
- the map should cover as much of the canvas as possible; items should be placed ON the map, not around the map (but may exceed the map border).
- the map should not be "flat", but rather have a 3-D appearance (please see attached file as an example; we hold a license for the attached map);
- the canvas needs to be A0 (for plotting); on A0, the contents should be readable from 50 cm distance.
-the infographic should mainly use our colors: # 6E85B0; # D7E2EE; # AFC4DF # 8BA8CF; # 3A5B8E; # 233A65; # 0F2145
- the canvas background may be white or any other light color.
