Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for our new company based in Algeria that we would like to call “The Numidian Miner” (“Numidian” from “Numidia” an ancient appellation of Algeria and north Africa region BC).
The company does business mainly in Algeria and we sell some metals (copper, gold, silver, iron, etc.) and various products (copper coils for sanitary and gas installations, welding rods, etc.) for industry, construction, and/or handicraft purposes.
In terms of design, we are open to all types of proposals (icon, icon and text, icon with combination with the company initials, etc.). We would like to see designs that use appropriate colours reflecting the business and nature of products (e.g. metals’ colours, etc.).
To better reflect our company, we are looking for designs which represent strength and quality. The company is at an early stage, and the brand colours have not been selected/fixed yet. In addition, we might change the name later (depending on outcomes and market reaction). However, we still would like to use “The Numidian Miner” at this stage but prefer the designs to put more attention on the icon. For the icon, simple, creative, vivid, easy to remember, are key elements for a successful design proposal. The name of the company could be a source of inspiration (e.g. using a strong miner icon, workman manipulating metals, etc.) but not mandatory.
