Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

My company 'London Water Closet Company' has an oval shaped logo.
The logo is black with magenta text.

i want to do a redesign on the company logo.

I'm looking for a much stronger brand.

I want the logo to look a little bit traditional (Strong London Look)
I also want to try and create a feel of semi modern/contemporary feel.
(not easy i know)

I have attached several images of logos i like.
The one i like best is the 'Charlotte' logo.
If we go down this route i would like the word London in the middle, the word Water around the top and closet company around the bottom.

If we do go down the charlotte route we need to find a ay to make it very slightly more contemporary.
