It is not quite clear what to do.
In your attached photo the board consists of 2 parts. Do you mean this when you say "from above" and "from below"? A simple pencil drawing by hand would take away a lot of questions. If it's not difficult, draw how you see it all and then maybe the designs will not be so similar. Thank you .
