if you don't like a design, PLEASE just eliminate it rather than give a low star rating as this effects our overall rating. We all try our best and have spent time working on a logo for you. Thanks!

Thank you, I was just trying to sort it out for myself personally and that no idea that this was going public! Do you know how I can take the star ratings off of these logos?

You have effectively punished all designers that you awarded 1, 2 or 3 stars (myself included) but I did explain this system to you when I made my submission which I have since withdrawn. Those punitive stars can be deleted (or increased in number) and this will result in immediate restoration of the designer's ranking and status to the levels they were before your awarded stars.

Using the star rating system as a means of "sorting" favourite designs is the most common reason that clients do what you have done and in this regard, the platform should have explained things more clearly to you and all other clients (another reason I attempted to do the same with the note that accompanied my submission).

I did not receive an email from you describing how the star system worked, as you suggested you did. Nor did I see anywhere on the platform which explain that to me. Obviously I was using it for my own purposes, and it was nothing personal about your design. There is no need to be nasty about it. I did remove all the star ratings when I understood how it worked and I emailed the company to suggest they engage a private rating system. I trust after my star removal that nobody’s ratings will be tarnished.

My initial message (a sort of note) accompanied my submission (it wasn't a separate e-mail message) and I can only guess that somehow it was not displayed to you before you gave your star feedback but it was not my intention to be nasty (I would never willingly do that). I was never in the running for your project and I wish you all the best in finding the design you had in mind.
