Statistics Mauritius is the official organisation responsible for the collection, compilation, analysis and dissemination of official statistics on the economic and social situation of the country.
The 2022 Housing and Population Census (HPC) aims to collect up-to-date and reliable data about all buildings, establishments, households and individuals in the Republic of Mauritius.
The focus of Statistics Mauritius, this time, is to arouse the curiosity and willingness of Mauritians to actively participate in the 19th round to make it complete and successful.
The Census logo will be used on all of our official census documents, our website and other support materials such as T-shirts, banners, etc. and may be used to sensitise and promote the Census undertaking among our population.
