Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a building and carpentry business based in Sydney Australia called N Hall Construction. We run small and large projects from residential carpentry and renovations to new homes and large commercial projects. We are looking for a logo that is professional, elegant and modern , that conveys our expertise and skill in the field of design and one that also attracts clients who are looking for a reliable, capable and established business to look after their project.
Our main Project Manager's initial and last name is N Hall and our previous logo had made it clear that the business name was N Hall Construction ( instead of reading it an one word Nhall Construction), so we are looking for something that will also make the distinction.
We like dignified/stylish palettes like greys but are not limiting it to that only and have used Times New Roman as a font ( because of its classic , strong feel ) but would also be happy to see something more updated.
We will attach an exmple of our previous logo.

• Although we are not opposed to designs that have colour, we are looking for a greyish or masculine pallet or similar colours or tones that maintain a professional appearance.
  We have attached a sample of the logo we have been using up until now , we are

Sollte nicht haben

• We would like the design not to have the N and H too close together or without separation .So the business name is not mistaken for Nhall( 'nawl'), instead of N Hall ('en hall').
  We wouldnt like a logo where a picture or icon is very dominant or very colourful.
  We also wouldn't like a logo that is very busy
  if the design does contain a picture or icon relating to carpentry , we wouldn't like a lumberjack feel or wood grain or pictures of building tools.
