Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We want this logo to play off the double meaning of "Oklahoma Rocks!" as both celebratory (as in "We're great - we ROCK!") and visually tied to our organization (perhaps actual or graphic rocks or a front end loader full of rocks) - a statewide advocate for the aggregates industry. Aggregates are the sand, rock, and gravel that is the beginning point of all roads and bridges, as well the foundation, walls, and glass of your house or office. We want to playfully but tastefully appeal to those who may not have considered what "aggregates" are (which is just about everyone!) "Rocks" are the most notable element we use. This logo would be used for ballcaps, mouse pads, coffee cups, and/or other such items to be given to legislators and others. We hope to create a desirable yearly change that echoes the "Rocks" theme - themes such as "Rocklahoma", "Rock on Oklahoma," etc. This is the first year we have done this, so this design will hopefully set the tone, and perhaps spawn a relationship between us! Clear, fun, and something everyone would like to have are some of our hopes. Our new organization logo is uploaded and will likely be part of the products we use your logo on - small on the back of a cap or a small, lower-right ID of a mousepad where your logo covers it or perhaps just the iconic "circle". We leave this to your design talents. Our official FONTS are Trade Gothic LT Std for most writing and Verb Black for headlines or larger words. If you do not use these, please make sure your logo is compatible with them. Also, I have included the HEX # for our official Brown, Gray, and Blue colors below. Please apply the same rule as the fonts – if you don’t use these colors make sure yours are highly complementary.
