Illustration-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I'm looking for an illustration for my children's book. For now just need 1 illustration (cover type thing) but may lead to an additional project for full story illustration.

The Story is about a fir tree that dreams of being a Christmas tree.
This illustration should be a happy fir tree that looks like a dreamer! He loves doing good in the world and making kids happy and this illustration should really be about capturing that loving hopeful personality. At this point in the story he is still rooted in the ground (Doesn't need to have his own feet or anything.)

I'm open to different styles and ideas. And if anyone has questions I'm happy to answer them. Don't want to give TOO much more because I'm really interested in the ideas of others. I think Illustrations can really make or break a children's book so I'm excited to see what we can create together!

I've uploaded some ideas of illustrations I like because the faces really capture the personality of the creatures they illustrate. Not that I am looking for exactly those styles- main thing is to capture the tree's loving and warm personality in his face!
