Our company is comprised of hard working red blooded Americans, working in the Midwest (Wisconsin). We specialize in drywall and paint systems and primarily work with developers and construction firms, with sporadic residential clients.
We are looking for a professional and contemporary logo design that has clean lines, our company name, and the ability to include our tagline (see in the logo text box), as well as imagery related to the drywall/painting industry. The company name in the logo should be able to stand alone from the tagline so either option could be utilized in marketing (full logo with name and tagline and logo with just name). Colors for consideration would be reds and blues with reds being most predominant.
In the midwest and our industry the business name is everything so our company name needs to be the main focus of the logo. The font and size ratio of our company's name has to be memorable and easily identifiable on; a website, billboard, job site sign, business card, etc...
Our logo design should communicate mainly to our commercial partners, but also be flexible enough to reach the residential market. The logo design should convey professionalism, competence, and confidence for clients looking to spend a few thousand dollars to much more.
We are also open to exploring some imagery in the logo that has a post WWII feel of the friendly painter person who was professional, clean, and accomplished.
We will need the logo in multiple formats.

- "Wisco Finishers" maybe in red color scheme and tagline in black. The Wisconsin State college sports programs utilize red coloring in the logo, which is very recognizable in our market. We would prefer a deeper tone red vs. a bright cherry red. Black lettering for tagline if used. Straight lines; bold and visually appealing lettering.
