Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Looking for a design for my youth group. Would need a banner and a logo to go along with it. Ruach is a Hebrew word for Spirit and wind. I really wanted a logo that incorporated the idea of "wind" into it. One of my youth came up with the idea of an arrow off of the R and we loved it but they lack the graphic design experience necessary to finish the design.
To be clear, we love the idea, but don't really like any other part. I have attatched the two pics of the banner and logo that give the idea. We don't like the font. We dont really like the blue color. And with the logo, the arrow is too busy. It feels like too much. We want a "sleeker" design of the idea.
