Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We already have a logo which we use across our suite of products. This logo has been in use for approximately 4 years. We would like to have this logo updated and simplified to represent our brand better. We are a professional Canadian Immigration software company. We would like to look more professional, simpler and cleaner.

We are currently working on designing a new company website and would like a new look for our logo as well. We would prefer a monochromatic colour scheme, preferably in the blue tones as blue has always represented our company. Currently our logo has 5 colours we would also be open to the use of more than one colour but no more than three. We are open to the mixing of red/blue. We want to stay away from overly bright colours.
We really want this to appear professional, trustworthy, clean, simple. We don't want our logo to be overly complicated as the immigration process is already complicated enough.

What we like:
1. The maple leaf as we are Canadian
2. The unique shape variation of the maple leaf shape
3. The colour blue
What we dislike:
1. Too many colours
2. Looks dated and old
