Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The Global Meteorite Association is a nonprofit dedicated to educating the public about meteorites and serves to provide guidelines, code of ethics, etc. to those involved in the hobby.

From this logo, I also will integrate the design into badges. So, sometimes the logo will include the name of the organization and sometimes not. Also, will need different versions that have high detail to reduced details. As a standalone logo, it should have high detail. As included in a badge or as part of a 100px wide by 40px tall icon, obviously detail is less. I will be making logo wear as well as enamel pins so colors need to be consistent with those requirements.

The "my-sketch.JPG" and "latest sketch of basic elements.psd" really show what I am looking for. I'd like for the orbit to look like a stylized "G". The "meteor-impact.JPG" provides a general idea of what an impact would look like. The "GMA Globe sketch V7.ai" shows how I want the orbit split into 2 sections.

• Clean lines. Orbit must look natural. The idea is that a meteor starts far away and then gets captured by gravity and enters an elliptical orbit, then crashing into the earth with a cataclysmic crash.
