Hi DesignCrowd,

We're are grateful for the overwhelming response we have received from your community. We assure you that we have reviewed and studied every single one of your designs. We also thought a lot about what each design meant and the message it was supposed to convey. A few notes:

1. We do NOT want to highlight the letter C in our logo. That was clear in our brief as we indicated that we're not interested in lettermark or wordmark logo.

2. We WOULD like to highlight CANNABIS (marijuana, weed, pot, blunts, smoking weed) and COMMUNITY (chat, talk, discussion, forum, groups, ideas, social networking).

3. We love CREATIVITY, ABSTRACTION, SIMPLICITY, MEMORABLE AND ENDURING DESIGN.

4. We like simple logos. The simpler the logo the better as long as it conveys the above mentioned ideas. Logos that are too busy, distract the audience and detract value.

5. We don't like logos that are too childish, gimmicky or "humorous" as we plan on marketing the app to businesses and will have paid memberships.

For everyone who participated or would like to participate, please give it a FINAL go. We will be awarding 4 users with participation awards for their ideas and effort.

REMINDER: We are very open to ideas that do not include a cannabis leaf, just remember it has to convey that we are a cannabis community and it should work as an app icon.

We need a logo design for a cannabis community website and mobile application. The application will allow users to publish posts, ask questions, and chat.

The logo will be used for app icons, splash screen, website logo, social media profile pictures, and on all offline business cards and stationary.

We bought the rights to the attached logo because we love the concept which includes the cannabis leaf, chat icon and face referencing the community aspect. Feel free to improve the current logo or use it as inspiration or come up with a new concept all together.

We would like the logo to reflect the spirit and characteristics of our community:
Free, respectful, strong, positive, nurturing, vibrant, thoughtful, passionate, engaged and fun

As for the logo colors: We're leaning towards using green and gold. Of course you're welcome to try/suggest different combinations of colors to find what best represents the brand.

We would like the logo image to convey the brand image by itself, but also look good combined with our brand name and slogan which are Cannabis Chat -- Weed Community. Please pick a font that will match your logo image.

We hope this will be an opportunity to start a long-term and fruitful business relationship with the winner of the contest.
