I'm creating an Online Museum for Hemp which will tell the story of hemp from ancient times to now and the future
cover the medical, industrial and nutritional uses and development of hemp
the people behind it, researchers, politicians, farmers and influencerts

the museum will have a number of "wings" , each holds an exhibition around a differnet theme, for example:

Hemp in the Age of Empires: 18th and 19th Century Collections
Hemp - The History of Healing
Domestication and Early Use: Ancient Collection
From Cotton Gin to Plastics and Prohibition: Hemp's Decline


these are just a few sample ideas for exhibitions


I'm looking for an overall design for the museum home page and exhibition page which will make people curious and want to spend time,learning and browsing

  needs to have a link to "Exit through the gift shop"
  
  must have a visual WOW effect
