Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We're based in the east of the United Kingdom and will be offering free (or almost free) I.T. projects to help communities safely socialise and communicate online in these difficult times. For example, providing free (or almost, it really does depend on the complexity) hosting to allow a church to host software to manage their parishioners, to allow neighbourhoods to share thoughts, photos and so on in a more intimate setting than (say) nextdoor.com or to offer a local lending library.

The above example projects will run off of free or community editions or open source software and our intention is to host it for literally £1.00 or £2.00 above cost. No set up fees other than needing a purchase or transfer in a domain name and to get an SSL certificate (or a free one from Let's Encrypt). We want to bring people together whilst being physically apart but without them needing to pay an extortionate amount of money to do it.

The company is going to be trading under the name of "Puffin Projects" so we were thinking of a cartoon / sketched puffin with a toolbox or some kind of tool like a hammer, wrench, etc as part of the design but we're open to ideas. In addition to a logo would also like the banner images for Facebook, etc, to promote a branding. Other than the few pounds a month web hosting we would only intend to charge should customers want something beyond the scope of the list of open source software or for it to be heavilly customised.

• Playful and/or fun is fine but not childish please. I've attached a screenshot of some randomly selected images from Google Images to give you a rough idea what I had in mind but by all means I'm welcome to be surprised!

Sollte nicht haben

• The design must not be I.T. / web hosting speciifc as we hope to launch a number of different projects over time and don't wan't to be tied in to just that industry.
