Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a re-design of the current logo for a new fast food chain. We focus on 3 products in particular: Hotcakes, Sandwiches and salads. The sandwiches have a triangular shape, and therefore we seek to match the "D" in the name (See file).
The current logo is very "Corporate" and we are looking to add something more animated to it like the rest of the logos in other chains (Burger King, McDonald, Dunkin Donuts, etc).
We would like the colors of the logo to circulate between brown and dark orange.
