Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

A University of Washington research study, Lumbar Stenosis Prognostic Subgroups for Personalizing Care and Treatment (PROSPECTS), needs a logo that will convey a study on individuals experiencing pain in the lower back and legs. We need a logo design that can be embedded into a web page and study documents and patient questionnaires for a research study we are planning to conduct soon. The research study will recruit patients with lumbar spinal stenosis (low back pain and/or leg pain), a degenerative spine disease characterized by narrowing of the spinal canal leading to compression of the nerves that supply the legs. Symptoms are usually worse with standing and walking and better with sitting or forward bending. The overall objective of this project is to develop and evaluate a clinically useful predictive model of long-term function in older patients initiating non-surgical care for symptomatic lumbar spinal stenosis. The logo will be seen by patients in the study (age 50 to 85), research staff and investigators at academic recruitment centers across the United States (Duke University, University of Washington), and by the National Institutes of Health, therefore, we prefer a logo that is adaptable to a wide audience.

The logo can contain either the short study acronym (PROSPECTS) and/or longer title (Lumbar Stenosis Prognostic Subgroups for Personalizing Care and Treatment), but otherwise we do not have specific stylistic guidance or preferences on color or font or additional graphics. Thank you and good luck!
