Company will provide unclaimed property compliance information resources. Eventually these will be delivered via a web app, but first generation will be provided via customized matrices listing and providing detail on unclaimed property law.

Unclaimed Property is the process by which dormant intangible personal property (bank accounts, uncashed checks, stocks) are reported and delivered to the state after a period of no contact with the owner. There are laws in every state and several Canadian provinces governing this process, and the obligation on businesses that hold customer assets are onerous. Scripta will provide the information necessary for companies that hold these assets to remain in compliance with these varied laws.

The logo should be highly polished and professional looking. Target customers are banks, brokerage firms, mutual fund companies, and large retailers. The name Scripta is derived from the Latin "lex scripta" which means the written law, or statute.
