It's a hex logo, it's going to be similar to a tone of hex designs that's just the nature of the shape.

Dear Matthew,

It's our job to help as designers here to report if there are copied or similar shapes because sometimes client doesn't know about it. If you want to keep the logo as it is after, its completely okay.
Many clients feels helped when we help to report similar logo etc.
