Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Design a logo that will be a Large part of my branding project. My business is ME and my Voice. I am a Voice Over artist/talent (NOT actor) that records and produces voice over products from my professional (certified) home recording studio. For those unfamiliar with VO, think about the voice you hear on any advert (TV, Radio, Internet, Corporate training video) My voice (and my studio) is my product. It needs to be professional but certainly NOT stuffy or medicinal! My name will allow for some "play" but not interested in "cartoonish" or "fluffy" styles. I am a "creative" but work mostly in commercial and corporate environments. These "environments" are here and now in the 21st century! I don't want to look like "1999"! Hope this makes sense. This is very important to me and I hope and expect to keep this logo for several years.
So the name will be: Lori Snow. I picture a color palette of blue, white, gray and perhaps some yellow. The blue should be similar to the blue on this page at the "continue" button (so not sky blue, powder blue, baby blue, navy blue, aqua blue etc.) They gray should be wonderful shade that is NOT light or very dark and not drab. If the yellow ends up being a part of this, the yellow should be brilliant and not pale, but not GOLD. But just a thought. I am open to all color ideas. Just as long as there are not too many colors.
