Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Logo design brief for our business, Lana Likes:

Our business' main product at the moment is a bliss/protein ball. This comes in various flavours (chocolate, beetroot and tumeric, mocca, etc). There will be other product lines in the future. We want our brand to be a health food brand, targeting the health conscious, especially as our products are:
- gluten free
- dairy free
- refined sugar free
- all natural (no artificial sweeteners)

The product will mostly be purchased by cafes to sell to their customers. We will also look to expand to selling to business for their catering. Our long term goal is to have this product sold at supermarkets in the health food section.

The story behind the product that we want to convey is that the product was inspired by our 2 year old daughter (Lana). We wanted a treat for her that was healthy and nutritious while being something that was delicious at the same time. We want to give the customer a sense that this is a family business too and if possible, we would like the logo to have some element of vibrancy and/or playfulness, whether it is in terms of design or choice of colours or both.

For an idea, we were inspired by the Starbucks logo and made a sketch of our daughter from a school photo and put together an idea (see image attached). We are not married to the idea, but would favour a logo that shows a picture/drawing/cartoon that resembles her even slighty in the logo.

In terms of colours, we have seen that most health food brands use green and we would also like to use a chocolate brown colour as well if possible. We are open to various shades of these colours and if you feel you have a better idea in terms of a colour scheme, then we are open to that as well.
