Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are starting a landscaping business and need a logo to start with... The name Grounded came from many different thoughts. He has played baseball all of his life and our yard has always looked like a pristine outfield. He has previously been in education most recently as a high school principal and working towards his PhD that he is only weeks away from completing. In my eyes, he is now “grounded” from spending and anything else until this business is up and prosperous having a PhD to resign his steady job/income to play in the dirt like he has always wanted...
He envisions the words sitting on top of a grassy area... I would like to keep it fairly simple but catchy for it to be used on shirts, cards, and signs.
The colors that I like are navy and Kelly green. We are open to anything though!
