Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new basketball club called 'RLK' or Roseville/Lindfield/Killara Basketball club.
We run basketball training sessions and game coaching to youth ages 9-17.
We are not tied to a colour scheme at the moment and I've attached some files. 2 of which are our other club logos and some others for possible inspiration.

The team currently is gold and black, so some sort of lakers colour way could be great, we also really like the Miami Heat "Miami vice" colour palette. These Hawks jerseys also pop quite nicely.
Our other clubs are called 'The Things' and 'The Pirates'.

Our logo will be used on the front of a jersey.

The logo should include a Basketball playing Character, he may be slam dunking, or spinning a ball. It could cartoony, caricature-y but not too cheesy. It could be a person, animal or monster looking thing. (Or anything else you think is cool). Again not too tied to what he is doing, but would be cool if he could be tied into the logo.

The team name is RLK Basketball or Roseville Lindfield Killara.
