Our mission is to welcome families into an engaging private country club community, providing exceptional service, superior facilities and premier golf, built upon a century of camaraderie and tradition.

Our vision is to be the premier golf & social club where family & friends choose to play, relax & connect.

BACKGROUND
Founded in 1916, Meadowbrook Country Club is one of the oldest clubs in Southeast Michigan.  The original golf course was designed by Willie Park, Jr, and consisted of just 6 holes and 125 acres.  Now, with over 180 acres and remodels done by storied architects such as Donald Ross and Andy Staples, Meadowbrook remains one of Detroit’s elite clubs.

Meadowbrook has hosted the PGA Championship and numerous other PGA tournaments including the Motor City Open (1940’s – 1960’s). Prominent names such as Byron Nelson, Bob Hamilton, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead and Cary Middlecoff have tee'ed off here.

Meadowbrook also offers members a variety activities including tennis (clay and hard courts) three swimming pools (and competitive swim team) and numerous social events (4th of July fireworks, dualling pianos, trivia, wine tastings, craft cocktail classes, cooking classes, etc.)

RECENT HISTORY
Starting in 2012, the membership have continued to re-invest in the club in variety of ways: North End clubhouse renovation $2M USD, Golf course renovation $6M USD. Most recently, the membership approved $14.5M USD to renovate the golf practice range and South End clubhouse (scheduled for 2022).

With this most recent reinvestment project, which represents a 10-year strategic workplan, the Board of Directors would like to explore our club’s brand design.

REQUEST
With a clean-slate and no design constraints, propose a completely new brand logo for Meadowbrook Country Club that reflects our 100+ year history, our mission statement and our value statement.
