Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I have an office building/private club and I would like to design a logo that is an homage to the American Clubs in Singapore and Hong Kong. The building was built in 1740, so I like the idea of incorporating that date. I like the American Club logos, so using those as an inspiration for "ACC" American Club Charleston is interesting. I like the eagle imagery of those club logos - so something similar could be great.
