Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Background
Experienced high-end builder and electrician (Pete & Tom), whilst working together during the pandemic realised that many people were suddenly thrown into a home-working situation. Ill-equipped for home-working, sharing space with children being home educated or stuck in a bedroom to carry out their desk jobs. For most people, building a garden room to work in is unaffordable and unachievable, or for those who rent, simply not an option.
Pete and Tom wanted to bring to the market affordable, high quality garden room solutions for ordinary people, including those who rent. From desk sized but perfectly adequate, easily constructed low budget options, to bespoke multi-purpose rooms with exquisite lighting options, Element Garden Rooms was born.
The bonus is that they both love working outdoors and can use their skills and experience to enhance outdoor spaces – however small or temporary it may be.
‘Element’ represents the outdoors (“in the elements”), also a way to describe one part of something - a beautiful element of the garden or a practical element to work/home balance.

The brief
To create a logo for Element Garden Rooms that stands out, represents their vision and core values:
Vision: to provide quality, flexible garden room solutions to enhance the home-work combination lifestyle, whatever your living arrangements.
Core values: Quality. Eco-conscious. Flexible.
The logo should include a symbol in addition to the name, which can then be used independently, although the name will always be present. For example the graphic could be the social media icon, and the business name the Facebook page name. On vehicle branding, the graphic could be on the bonnet, with the business name down the side of the van. The logo will be applied to black and silver vehicles so needs to stand out well on those colours. Ideally, the colours used would be more towards the natural colours rather than anything too lurid.

Our customers:
Families with office working parent(s). Renters or home-owners with medium income.
High income families around the world heritage city of Bath, with beautiful Georgian architecture and large family homes, who may want multi-purpose spaces and bespoke lighting design.

I have attached photos of one of our previous builds to so you know what a garden room looks like.
I have also attached a quick sketch idea I had come up with...which would need work to improve.
