Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
Our logo is antiquated and needs to be redone completely. It has been our logo since 2012 and we really need to get a new logo going. We have eliminated the name Little Apple Aerial Arts and simply made it Little Apple Aerials. Our logo needs severe updating and really total redo. I think we would like a combination logo or monogram logo. We also own the domain FlyLAA, so maybe an iteration on that. Our tagline is "come fly with us." Maybe instead of Come Fly with us we could include "FlyLAA" or "www.flylaa.com" Tell me about Little Apple Aerials. What is the company’s purpose?
To teach a multitude of classes in aerial arts such aerials silks, lyra, tumbling, acro-sport, trampoline, mini-trampoline, aerial dance, corde lisse & spanish web, circus arts and more to kids thru adults. The company's purpose is to share these artforms and alternative fitness classes.
What services/products does Little Apple Aerials offer?
We offer classes, parties, camps, clinics, and all encompassed aerial arts training.
What separates you from the competition (if there is any locally)?
We are significantly more trained and more organized than the competition. NO joking, not ego, our students are better(more skilled, better versed, stronger) than the competition’s teachers.
What are three words you would want your customer to describe the business as?
Professional or Friendly or Exciting
Who is your target audience?
Students in primary students & their parents, secondary students & their parents, and post-primary education students. Families that want to get involved in an activity together and adults looking for alternatives to gym memberships and classes.
Who do you imagine as an ideal customer? What are their demographics, personal interest, values, etc.?
People who value high quality training and are not looking for the cheapest option.
Website & targeted emails. Probably should make a commitment to social media if budget allows.
Is there a specific layout configuration in mind? Single line vs landscape or portrait orientation?
We are ok with any of these.
COLORS- We are ok if the designer takes some liberties with the colors. Designcrowd did not give us as many options as we would have liked. We are certainly not married to the green!
Updates
So a large majority of the first designs were basic. Many of these submissions were something I could do in Adobe illustrator myself. We did ask for simple in the brief, but there were a large number of designs that were eerily similar and again extremely basic. This is with a modern text and some of the color changes were cool with a simple acronym(LAA) shield, badge, or whatever you might call that. I could have done many of the submissions myself. I have some design knowledge but am in need of a PROFESSIONAL Graphic Designer, specifically for logos. A few of the colorful and fun unique designs also have no clue what the business is and how to attract OUR customers. They will make a female abstract dancer character which would be fine if you could add an element of flight. A leaping dancer is not appropriate for what we are doing. This is a circus art much like Cirque Du Soliel's many arts in their shows. An aerial dancer does make a ton of sense. We are called Little Apple Aerials, but not really interested in an apple used in the theming. Although we did get one or two submission that challenged that, it also doesn't prove who we are or what we do, except for the word "aerials". We are open to colors but DesignCrowd pushes you to have those set.
