Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a new logo for a holiday unit complex called "Mermaid Apartments". We have recently purchased this block of holiday units located in Merimbula NSW. This is a small block of 7 self contained holiday apartments in a coastal beachside location. The apartments are for short term holiday rental. It is an older style block but we have recently done some upgrades to the internals of the units. I need a logo suitable for physical building signage, as well as, for business cards and social media branding. I have included some picture of the building from the outside and the location for reference. This is budget conscious accommodation in an excellent seaside location. The existing logo is of a big busted mermaid which believe to be outdated and offensive. We are looking to modernize the brand.
There is a pool in the Centre of the property and the lake and ocean are within a 3 minute walk.
