Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Our Event 'Fiesta en la Capital' (emphasise Fiesta and Capital) needs a minimalistic logo.
We're organising a new Latin dance event (salsa and bachata) in Canberra, the capital of Australia, with dance workshops with international and national dancers/instructors. Main features of the event are indoor and outdoor (rooftop) party rooms, live bands, battle of the Latin dance DJs competition and Latin dancing competition.
We're trying to avoid depicting couples dancing on the logo as it's too cliche.
With the logo we want to communicate a more laid back atmosphere of the event and possibly a landmark of the city in a subtle way (ex.: Parliament House, Kangaroos, Telstra tower). The event will happen yearly at the end of spring, beginning of summer and people come from all over Australia to learn from the workshops, some of them perform their couples/teams choreographies in the beginning of the night and then party until very late to live bands, DJs fuelled by by drinks from the rooftop outdoor bar.
The branding will be used mostly on social media but will also be incorporated onto T-shirts that participants can purchase.
We are the same organisers of the Sydney International Bachata Festival (www.bachatafestival.com.au)
