Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need to create a logo for an extra virgin olive oil produced from the Nocellara del Belice variety. It is a DOP and organic product. The olive groves are located in Sicily in the heart of the Belice Valley, in the municipality of Montevago. From these olives we produce an unfiltered 'must' oil, just as it is fresh from the mill.
The history of the farm is quite short and family-run, now run by two sisters of about 30 years. The plants were planted by their parents, Margherita and Giovanni.

BRAND NAME
The name of the brand is not yet decided, much will depend on the logo chosen. However, it could be:
- "Ruvolo" with the subtitle "Olio EVO"

TARGET:
Due to the family-run business and the organic and DOP characteristics of the product, we would like the logo - the render of which we would like to be for a tin or bottle label - to be designed for a target audience:
- Between 35/40 and 55/60 years old
- Attentive to their health and diet
- Who choose refined and organic products
- Who choose high range products but whose brand reminds them of a product that smells of home, of family, of nature, that makes them think of the earth and of being organic.
- Who choose niche products that are natural at the same time.
- Restaurants, wine bars, specialised shops and haute cuisine are the target market for this bottle and its label, the result of a strategy that looks to international markets and social media. Designed to support export managers, the graphics combine modern elements with references to the past, which, together with the name of the oil, evoke the image of a company with deep roots, yet capable of evolving.

We want a logo
- simple, essential, not at all complicated or elaborate
- that looks hand-drawn!
- with a light and delicate stroke
- effective and memorable

FONTS AND COLOURS
We would like a rounded, full, fresh, but elegant
As far as colours are concerned, we imagine colours such as
- bright acid green (to remind us of freshly pressed oil)
- and violet
- bread-paper colour (light brown) as a last choice to possibly remind us of the organic/natural aspect
- we don't want too many colours, one strong contrasting colour would be preferable
the most important thing is that the logo is elegant and sophisticated but modern and youthful at the same time. A logo that can be memorable both in a restaurant and on social media.
However, we rely on the graphic designer's experience and aesthetic taste to choose a colour that embodies the characteristics listed above.

• 1.Because of our parents' names, Margaret and Giovanni, we would like, if possible and not as a necessary element, for the logo to reproduce the initials of our parents' names (M and G) in a stylised way, as if it were hand-drawn and so that the two letters together resemble the shape of an olive or two olive leaves. OR 2. Another image that we might like - as an example, not as a compulsory element of the logo - could be the olive tree flower, or rather The Flowers, since the olive tree has an inflorescence similar to a bunch called mignola, also hand-drawn. we would like the logo to have an overall modern but handmade style, as if it were drawn by an artist, not as if it were an industrial thing
