Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

BRAND SHORT DESCRIPTION
Halter is a new fitness apparel brand that aims to gather the core values of the ancient Greek philosophy of stoicism with the discipline and effort of modern bodybuilding.

NAME
The name HALTER comes from “Halteres” which were the precursors of the modern dumbells used in ancient Greece. They were carved in stone and used by greek and spartan athletes to improve their strength and physical condition.

BRAND CONCEPT
We live in a new era where politicians and media have made us believe that we are victims, that we are weak as individuals who constantly need guidance and protection. We are told what to eat, what to drive, what it is okay to think, what we are supposed to love and hate.
In this new world standing out and being an independent thinker seems to be punished meanwhile submission gets rewarded with scraps.

In HALTER we believe it is enough of this nonsense.

Life is not fair, nobody ever said or promised that. You will face struggle, sickness, challenges, deceptions…

BUT! We are no victims, we are made to overcome, to bounce back if we fall, to conquer and achieve. In HALTER we believe in a new attitude represented by our main motto
“REJECT WEAKNESS. BE A LEGEND” and our inspirational designs. We have the conviction that every single human being has the ability and potential to become a better self and inspire others.

LOGO IDEA
-The main idea for the logo is the face of a Greek god (preferably without a metallic crown, the laurel wreath is okay). This face has to resemble seriousness and intensity.

-For some designs, the logo will be stamped (we are testing different techniques and results) but on other occasions, it may be embroidered as a small logo in the upper left chest area, therefore, it needs to be somehow minimalistic and not present excessive lines.

-Even though we are a fitness brand, we want to remind stylish and discrete with some of our designs and more “dressy” collections.

-Avoid making the logo too “cartoonist” or childish, Halter wants to resemble the refinement of the ancient Greek thinkers.

-The logo must be strong enough to stand on its own but also be combined in some designs with the brand name.

-It has to be masculine since our core audience are men and bodybuilding enthusiast.

-It would be cool (but not a top priority) if there is a second and more complex versión of the logo for when it is stamped in a bigger size as a part of a t-shirt or a hoodie design.

REFERENCES
I have attached some logos and ideas that somehow catch the idea behind our logo, but obviously, we want something original and unique. Don´t hesitate to get in contact with me with any question, idea, suggestion etc.

***Finally, I wanted to mention that we are not only looking for a one-time occasion designer. We would like to establish a long term relationship with a designer who understands and manage to capture the concept of the brand for more designs besides the logo. All types of clothing, sport complements etc.
