Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo for our growing trucking company. Our trucks are white, so need something clean and simple and mostly black. I need to use the D J Pedler Contracting on the door of the truck and on letterheads and business cards. I've been working with a signage company to try and get a design for large oval fence signage, which I'll attach, but my partner thinks it looks boring. I need to get the signage finalised asap (including the extra details on the sign in the pic). The oval fence sign is 2400mm x 900mm.
