Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a new start-up business producing very high end audio equipment, initially focussed on ancilliary equipment such as hi-fi racks, speaker stands, record weights etc but with an eye to expansion into speakers and electronics goods in due course. Our emphasis is on high quality goods manufactured in England with machining works undertaken in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
There is a requirement for the logo to be reproducable in laser cut 0.9mm bright brass for placement within a fused glass 'badge' for application onto finished products, this will involve etching a 'negative' of the logo into clear glass for the brass 'positive' logo to be inserted prior to fusing. The overall logo should be circular in form with either; 1) a distinctive and unique feature at its centre, the letters "SAE" and the wording "Sheffield Audio Engineering" positioned above/ below the central feature OR 2) the central feature may be the lettering "SAE" with a distinctive and unique design around the outside and included within the logo the wording "Sheffield Audio Engineering". Included within the brief package are some VERY loose ideas for inspiration, NOTE: The 'coat of arms' is far too intricate for the purposes described above but elements may be included as in the logo of Sheffield United. My business partner is a Sheffield United fan and he quite likes the idea of incorporating the 'blades' logo, however, I am aware that, due to trademarking issues, this can, at best, be merely alluded to although the Yorkshire Rose symbol is useable but would have to be simplified to meet criteria above.
