Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new, start-up community health center in the small town of Winnie, Texas, located in the southern portion of southeast Texas. This is a startup company, the non-profit status was just secured, no current logo, brand, or color scheme exists. The health center will provide outpatient medical, dental, and behavioral health services to all patients regardless of ability to pay.
The community is located 25 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and is mostly vast, open farm and prairie land. The area is known as the ‘coastal plains’ of Texas. Another important aspect is that the area is known for rice farming; this industry is intertwined in the lives of community members. The area is often described as a ‘best of both worlds’—rural area, simple life with proximity to modern amenities with two large metropolitan areas (Houston and Beaumont).
A subtle nod to the coast and rice farming would be a nice touch.
