T-Shirt-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We are seeking a design which will be printed on a tank-top/muscle shirt (sleeveless) and worn at local gyms by mostly males. Image is important to people who work to keep their bodies healthy.
The specific image we have in mind is the neck and head of a male, looking forwards directly at the viewer, accompanied by the text: Far Beyond Pretty, and with the Rough Pixels name subtly inserted somewhere in the design.
The male is bald (no head hair; also no facial hair), and has a slightly lengthy face. His skull is misshapen (lumps and corners, but not exaggerated), and he has some scars and perhaps skin discoloration. His eyes are large and tired. We want to portray a person who has been knocked around by life, but who is still standing. His eyes convey the message [not in words, but by their physical appearance] "I'm not dead yet," though he looks and feels worn out and mentally shattered.
We initially imagined the words 'Far Beyond Pretty' to be large and bold, with the head superimposed, or set to the side of the same words; however, we are open to other suggestions.
The design will be printed on dark colored (black, dark grey, royal blue, or similar) tank-tops/muscle shirts.
The overall look we envision is slightly dark and 'gothic.' (Males will be wearing this at their local gym, so they want a design with attitude and strength. They want to look good in front of other gym users). We are seeking a man's face, rather than a bare skull.

I appreciate the time designers have taken to submit their creative visions. I now appreciate how challenging it can be for a designer to interpret the words of a client who is unsure of how to outwardly express what is in their mind.
The image I am seeking is of a man who was not naturally blessed by good looks, and who has had to get through life on effort, rather than appearance.
At the moment, there is one submission that I feel has great potential. However, I wish to keep the competition open for a short while longer.
