Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are looking to merge our current business logo with the design of a new business logo as part of re branding process.
I have attached 3 pictures. The Kamilaroi Group logo is our current business logo. We like the general colour scheme of this as well as the sun in the background.
The Dharawal is an initial logo we had designed for the re branding of our company. New business name "Dharawal Pty Ltd".
The third picture is a picture of as lyrebird tail feather. This was the inspiration for the feather at the top if the Dharawal logo, however as we merge these we would like to soften the look of the feather and also soften the colour scheme to blend together better.
Looking to keep it a simple logo not overcrowded.
The new logo doesn't necessarily need to contain all elements of the old logo.
We are open to complete new designs as long as it incorporates the Lyre Bird feather.
