Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Here’s what we’re seeking.

Goal: New logo for the Zinkiew footwear brand which has a high-market/luxury appeal.

Zinkiew is a Canadian footwear brand focused on custom-order leather shoes for babies and toddlers. Products are handmade by a father who trained in shoe design in Budapest, Hungary.

See photos for current logo and example products. We are looking to refine the idea and give it more distinction, professionalism and recognition.

We like the current colours as they speak to the playful side of the brand, though we would be open to variations. The current font is Lato, which we appreciate for its approachability. Definitely open to a change in font though.

The logo must say “Zinkiew”. The text can be all upper case or only the Z capitalised or all lowercase.

Would be nice to see variations which include
“Canada” or “Est. 2022” or “Est. 2022 in Canada” in smaller text underneath e.g. Kate Spade and Coach logos attached.

We think the green lines in the current logo are strong potential for branding (e.g. the lines could wrap entirely around shoe boxes, or used as accent lines in website design) so we would be interested to see if you could transform them into a different, more interesting pattern than the simple lines they are now. One idea was to make them into stitches.

The logo will be also be used as a 60mm x 15mm fabric label which are sewn into the shoe soles (see product photos for current labels in shoes).

I’ve attached a few logos which we like for their simplicity. The Kate Spade logo is the most closely aligned to our vision.

We do not want the logo to look corporate. Seeking a logo which is elegant, inviting and high-end.
