Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo for my new business called Sirius Health. I offer nature-guided, science-backed holistic health coaching for individuals and groups. My coaching is for seekers of truth, self discovery and personal growth. I have a wilderness survival background, so my programs are more gritty and less hippy. (Love hippies though. All hippies welcome.)

I’m open to any design style that is clever and eye-catching. I like hand drawn best. Symbolism in the design elements is important, like a tarot card. The elements I need to be represented are the Canis Major constellation, Sirius star and a wolf. I was thinking about a wolf looking up at the constellation, highlighting the Sirius star. I would like to see some versions with the dandelion plant represented as well. Think tarot card style. Also open to all ideas.

Here are some of the symbolisms behind the logo. It’s the feeling of someone heeding the call of purpose and taking their first steps of transformation, initiation and awareness. Sirius is known as a gateway that connects the Earth to the ancestral realms of our origins. As the brightest star in our night sky, gazing towards Sirius opens our minds to realize we are a part of a bigger community and citizens of the cosmos. The wolf looking towards the constellation also represents the Native American tale of two wolves, which is about self awareness and choice. Dandelions, (if in the logo), symbolize the Earth, healing, nutrition, abundance and resilience.

The logo design needs to work for web, print and apparel, against a white background and a colored background. I’m looking for a decorative font that has a strong classic sense and not too whimsical. Most important is that it’s easy to read.

The final design needs to communicate connection, wonder, and intrigue.
