Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
New company in Palm Beach, FL, a nexus for philanthropy. It's a clubby world here, lot's of blue blood, but ripe for someone to break the mold, bringing counter intuitive philanthropic principles. My ultimate client will be donors, but they can be sourced by attorneys, financial consultants, CPA's and non profits.
The name of the entity is Palm Beach Philanthropic Solutions, LLC. While we could go the route of traditional, Northern Trust like approach, that's not what I want. Our firm is Apple vs. their Microsoft. I want it to have class, but with an edgy, almost pirate appeal.
Jobs said that Apple made computers "for the rest of us", we'll provide highly innovative solutions to greatly enhance people's philanthropic, estate, and income tax plans, maximizing their inspired giving primarily by diverting money from the worst charity in the world, the IRS, to the best ones, the one's they are passionate about.
Our work is "heavy mental", bold, innovative and generous. We are here to capture the imagination of people driven to change the world and dramatically increase their impact.
Tag lines welcome, but they've got to be Apple cool.
Let's shake them up in the clubhouse.

I am looking for design talent to do a much larger project. Again, in my brief, I was suggesting that I'm looking for this logo to be elegant, understated, but with a bit of an edge. My firm has a bit of a pirate spirit, going against convention, and blowing competition (Northern Trust) out of the water. I called it my Apple to their Microsoft. A tennis analogy would be my Agassi to their Sampras, but I'm being too kind because Sampras was a superior tennis player.

- Probably not a lot of color or graphics. Just elegant layout with a bit of an edge. I don't know exactly what that is, but I want to break the mold of the traditional Wealth Advisory Services logos that are just block print. I think I want block print, maybe one or two letters in foil.
