Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a small family farm in the Appalachian (Blue Ridge) mountains of Western North Carolina (also known as The Land of Sky) established 2022. The farm will likely be a Christmas Tree farm, as is much of the area., but may also include apple trees, oak trees and grasses like Sorghum (grass grown as cereals for human consumption and some in pastures for animals). The farm is on one of the higher mountains in the area, reaching 4200 feet in elevation, and has views >50miles into NC, TN, and VA. In fact, the name of the mountain is Dove Knob, making it symbolic of peace, freedom and love that we very much appreciate. Our family is very ecologically minded and environmentally conscious (we will be pesticide and herbicide free). Ottaray is the phonetic spelling for "Mountain" in an extinct Cherokee dialect and our "nod" to the native Americans who first valued this incredible area. Visions of long-ranged layered mountain silhouettes, mountain top grass fields, Fraiser fir Christmas trees, apple trees, oak trees come to mind. Of note, the mountains are some of the oldest in the world and the peaks are less defined than mountains like the Rocky Mountains or the Alps – they are concentric layers of round-ed off mountains ranges. We are more interested in a farm feel than a mountain feel and prefer the text/font to be simple and elegant.
